Shelton's clients primarily include commercial and residential contractors, developers, insurance carriers, third-party warranty companies, publicly-traded volume and custom home builders, remodelers, subcontractors, engineers, and architects in Texas. He is a speaker and writer for numerous seminars and publications on construction topics. He currently serves on several committees for both NAHB and TAB.
